Today, almost forty five years since the bank's founding, Capital Bank is still locally owned and independent. To continue
its goal of excellent customer service, Capital Bank has invested heavily in upgrading the bank's technology. From 2000 to
2002, Capital Bank replaced its computer system, offered new products such as overdraft shelter, electronic check
conversion, and check imaging.
In 2006, the branch bank in Ringgold moved into new facilities on US Hwy 41 at the Battlefield Parkway intersection
and added a new remote ATM. An additional branch was opened in Chickamauga Georgia expanding our brick and
mortar facilities into Walker County. The Fort Oglethorpe branch was remodeled and a state of the art training
facility was added on the second floor. A new Operations Center was opened on Lafayette Road and where all of
the back-office operation of the bank and the call center operations are handled.
